Dr. Jose L. Martinez, MD — portrait
His Story

From the Andes to South Florida.

Dr. Jose L. Martinez began his medical journey at Universidad Nacional de Colombia — one of the most respected medical schools in Latin America. He then crossed continents for residency at New York Medical College, completing internal medicine training from 2003 to 2006 and an intense pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine fellowship from 2006 to 2009.

For more than twenty years he has practiced medicine — serving thousands of patients, mentoring younger physicians, and currently leading as Chief of Staff at Broward Health North. He is triple board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.

Every patient is evaluated and treated by Dr. Martinez — not a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner.

His practice philosophy is simple — personalized care, in your language.
